What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the infallible Word. (II Timothy 3:16)
We believe in one God who revealed Himself as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in regeneration. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6)
We believe Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.
(I Corinthians 15:3-4)
Our response to the gospel is in our obedience by repentance, baptism in Jesus' name, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:4; Acts 2:37-39)
Our Pastor
Rev. Butch & Merna Hanning
Pastor Hanning and his wife Merna have been married for 41 years and have been blessed with 7 children and 14 grandchildren.
They have been active in church ministry for much of their married life and eventually felt the call to plant a church. They planted and established Abundant Life Pentecostal Church in 2010 until the Lord opened a door for them to lead a neighboring congregation in need of a pastor.
In 2021 Abundant Life Pentecostal Church merged with Apple Valley Worship Center to become River of Life Pentecostal Church. These are exciting days and the Lord has been blessing our united congregation. We are eagerly anticipating what the Lord has in store for our church and we would love for you to be a part.
